While individual
band members compete in all levels, the band competes in Grade
5 at events sanctioned by the
Eastern United States
Pipe Band Association.
The band stepped onto the field for the first
time together in April of 2008 at the
Loch
Norman Highland games - winning FIRST PLACE.
This win was followed by another
FIRST PLACE finish
at the Gatlinburg
Highland Games. The band ended the
2008 season in
Richmond with a 2nd place finish. The band
finished 16th out of 113 bands for the 2008 EUSPBA Season.
2009 began again in
Loch Norman with a 2nd place
finish,
Gatlinburg with a
FIRST PLACE finish,
Greenville
with a FIRST PLACE finish, a
second place finish
in Charleston
and ending the season with a
FIRST PLACE finish
at the Stone
Mountain Highland Games. The band tied
for 6th place out of 117 bands for the 2009 season!
We first took to the field for 2010 season at Loch
Norman on 17 April 2010 and won FIRST PLACE with an AGL.
Next up were the Greenville Highland Games where we finished 2nd, We look forward to
the season closer at Stone Mountain in October... (hopefully for the last time as a Grade 5 band).
