The Chicago Police Department Enforcers

condolences to the family, friends and
co-workers of Officer Alex Valadez who was
killed in the line of duty on 01 June 09.
Officer Alex Valadez was shot and killed
while investigating reports of gunfire on
South Hermitage Road shortly after midnight.
As he and his partner were questioning
several residents a vehicle drove up and an
occupant opened fire, striking him.
Officer Valadez had served with the agency
for three years. He is survived by his
parents, sister, brother, and expectant
girlfriend. His siblings and girlfriend also
serve with the Chicago Police Department.

The Enforcers finished
their 2009 season with a 3 -2 record and are very
thankful and humbled for all of the generous support and
help we have received this past season from all our fans
and volunteers. In this time of financial uncertainty,
its great to have been able to do the things we have
done this season. We have made the 2009 season our best
to date in regards to contributions to our various
charities. As of the completion of the season the team
disbursements are as follows:
CPD
Memorial Foundation $3500.00, Gold Star Families
$3500.00, Mercy Home $2500.00, Gordon Tech H.S.
$1500.00, Gina Dwyer Fund $500.00, Pipes and Drums
$500.00, Nate Taylor Fund $250.00 (More will come at the
August event).
We hope to continue to
make further contributions as the year progresses and
all of our operating expenses for 2009 are paid.
THANK YOU AGAIN, ENFORCER NATION!

The Chicago Police Enforcers
Football Team is a non-profit organization (FEIN#20-4416498)
which raises funds for Police and Children
related charities. To assist us in our efforts,
we produce a game program / ad book each
season. Last season the books were made
available at all of our home games as well as
all the Chicago Police District stations. After
operating obligations are met, the team will
present the remaining funds in the form of a
donation to the Chicago Police Memorial
Foundation, Gold Star Families, and Mercy Home
for Boys and Girls. Our first home game of 2009
is rapidly approaching.
